I joined BTL, IIT Delhi, as a Research Scientist in October 2025. Prior to joining here, I worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at IIT Gandhinagar (Department of Chemical Engineering) and Kangwon National University (KNU, School of Pharmacy), Republic of Korea. My research focuses on the development of spatiotemporally adjustable nanocomposite biopolymers for healing diabetic and infected wounds. I obtained a Ph.D. (Polymer Chemistry), M.Sc. (Inorganic Chemistry), and B.Sc. (Chemistry Honours) from the University of Calcutta in 2022, 2015, and 2013, respectively. My doctoral research was focused on synthesizing robust polymeric hydrogels for wastewater treatment. During my stay at KNU, I received training in wound healing and the anticancer applications of hydrogels.

I joined CBME, IIT Delhi, as a PhD scholar in July 2019 and completed in May 2025. I am currently working as a project scientist in the BTL lab. My research area focuses on the development of cancer immunotherapy. I completed my M.Sc in Biotechnology from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, in June 2019. Prior to joining IIT Delhi, I worked as a dissertation trainee at the National Institute of Immunology in New Delhi, focusing on vaccine biology. Singing, fine art photography, and playing volleyball are some of my favorite pastimes.

I joined BTL as a DBT-BioCARe Scientist in September 2025. My research focuses on integrating tumor immunology with advanced therapeutic delivery platforms to develop innovative strategies aimed at overcoming tumor progression and immunosuppression. I hold a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Biochemistry and earned my Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Aligarh Muslim University in 2024, where my doctoral research focused on nanotechnology-driven delivery systems for cancer therapy.

I have completed my masters from Jamia Millia Islamia in June 2019. I joined CBME in January 2021. Prior to this, I have worked as a JRF in AIIMS and as a dissertation trainee in INMAS DRDO. My research interest is on cancer diagnosis and therapeutics. My hobbies are singing, dancing and playing badminton.

In January 2023, I joined CBME, IIT Delhi, as a PhD scholar. I have completed my M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Jamia Hamdard University. I gained research experience as a dissertation trainee at the NII in protein biology. Currently, my research focuses on the development of therapies for Infectious Diseases. I also find joy in various activities that enrich my life, such as art and craft, designing, and listening to music.

I have completed my M.Sc. in Zoology, specializing in Molecular and Human Genetics, from Banaras Hindu University. I joined CBME, IITD, in December 2023. My area of research focuses on cancer therapeutics. Additionally, I am a trained Kathak dancer and squash player.

I hold a graduate and postgraduate degree in Zoology from Banaras Hindu University. I joined the lab in July 2024 and currently working on developing bio-therapeutics for the treatment of diabetes.
Hardik Singhal

I joined CBME, IIT-D under UQIDAR Joint PhD Program in January 2025. I hold an M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Alagappa University, Tamil Nadu and B.Sc. in Biochemistry from, Shivaji College, University of Delhi. I, previously worked as a JRF at National Institute of Immunology in the laboratory of Dr. Pushkar Sharma. I am deeply intrigued by the field of cancer Immunotherapy. At BTL, I will be looking to develop vaccine against cancer using lipid nanoparticles. I am excited to be a part of this journey. Apart from this, I like to write poems and enjoy playing cricket and badminton.

Hi! I’m Hitanshi Sharma, an MSc graduate from Department of Biochemistry, University of Delhi, South Campus. Being a gold medalist during my masters, my thesis was under the able guidance of Prof. Amita Gupta. My expertise lies in using Biochemical, Molecular and Immunobiology based techniques for developing targeted therapy. I also enjoy playing Lawn Tennis and Gaming in my free time
